Walnut ‘Europa’

If you fancy growing walnuts but don’t have the space, Walnut ‘Europa’ is the answer. ‘Europa’ is an especially dwarf variety of walnut, reaching only 3.5 metres tall at maturity,  unlike the common walnut which reaches a towering 30 metres. ‘Europa’s’ compact build makes it perfectly suited to small gardens. Better still this walnut crops within only 2-3 years so you won’t have long to enjoy your own home-grown walnuts. Walnuts also make beautiful specimen trees, with attractive bright green leaflets and pale bark which becomes silvery on maturity. Height and Spread: 3.5m (11.5’).
