Thujopsis Dolabrata ‘Variegata’

Thujopsis dolabrata´Variegata’ is a hard-to-find variegated form of Thujopsis which provides a subtly brighter foliage palette – a quality which is especially appreciated on dark wintry days. Its sprays of scaly, dark green branchlets are scattered with creamy white variegation at the tips, evoking the effect of dappled sunshine. It has all the excellent qualities of the plain green Thujopsis, growing into an elegant conical tree decorated with small cones. ‘Variegata’ is however, slightly slower growing, achieving an annual growth rate of 15-20cm (6 to 8in). This versatile evergreen tree makes a fine ornamental specimen or an unusual choice for an easily manageable evergreen hedge. Height: 2m (4.5ft). Spread: 1.5m (59in).
