Rhaphiolepis umbellata f. ovata is rarely seen in UK gardens but makes a fine evergreen specimen shrub for early summer interest. This Korean native produces a pretty display of fragrant, white, saucer-shaped blooms from June onwards. The flowers of this Yeddo Hawthorn are followed by blue-berries berries that provide late summer interest. Dark leathery foliage covers the bushy framework of stems, making an attractive display throughout the year. This compact, rounded shrub enjoys a sheltered position away from cold, drying winds. Height and spread: 120cm (48″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
