British native, Ranunculus lingua ‘Grandiflorus’ is a tall marginal aquatic. This hardy perennial has blue-green foliage and a loose, clump forming habit that makes it ideal for disguising pond edges. From June to August, golden buttercup flowers are carried on tall stems, attracting plenty of pollinating insects. Large-flowered Greater Spearwort is an ideal marginal plant for larger wildlife ponds, lakes and streams where it has plenty of space to spread. Height and spread: 100cm (39″). Planting depth: Zones 2 and 3 to 30cm (12″) below water level.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
