The green, heart-shaped foliage of Pickerel Weed make a pleasing sight as they emerge from pond margins, casting reflections over the water’s surface. This handsome perennial bears upright spikes of blue flowers throughout summer and well into September, long after most aquatics have finished blooming. Pontederia cordata has a slow, clump forming habit that is suitable for even the smallest ponds, adding structure to aquatic planting schemes. Height:90cm (36″). Spread: 60cm (24″).
