The Victoria plum has long been the nation’s most well-known and popular plum variety, but Jubilee is set to knock it off its perch! This improved variety is even bigger and tastier than Victoria, reliably producing heavy crops about a week earlier on trees with better resistance to pests and disease. The oval purple-red plums have extra sweet, firm yellow flesh and are delicious eaten fresh off the tree whilst being equally good for jams and desserts. All in all, a superb plum variety.
