The exotic-looking blooms of this elegant perennial seem undeserving of its common name of Asian Skunk Cabbage! This clump forming marginal aquatic produces large white spathes which surround the fragrant, green flower spikes from April to May. The foliage emerges later with large, glossy leaves unfurling from the base of each spathe. Once established, Lysichiton camtschatcensis thrives in wet and boggy soils, earning itself a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height and spread: 75cm (30″). Planting depth: Zones 1, 2 & 3 to 20cm (8″) below water level.
