Kohuhu hedging, or Pittosporum Tenuifolium Golf Ball, is a unique yet interesting native plant of New Zealand. This evergreen shrub grows into a low mound with an approximate height and width of 120cm each. Kohuhu hedging is frost-hardy and tolerant of both shady and dry soils, ideal for both coastal regions and urban areas. It has a mix of chocolate-purple coloured flowers with a slight honey scent, which are tucked away among the foliage making them hard to spot.
