Ilex triflora var. kanehirae, or Ilex ‘Impala’ as it is more commonly known, makes a handsome shrub. The glossy green foliage forms an attractive backdrop for a sprinkling of white flowers in April. Shiny, black berries follow the blooms, attracting wild birds to the garden. With a dense, well branched habit, this hardy shrub is perfect for creating evergreen hedges, particularly in cold sites; it even copes well with coastal conditions. Perfect for creating year-round colour and structure in the garden. Height: 250cm (98″). Spread: 120cm (48″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
