Heucheras provide invaluable groundcover in difficult spots beneath trees, shrubs and roses where the ground is dry and rooty. They easily shake off these conditions, smothering the ground and supressing emergent weed seedlings.
The Bressingham Hybrids are a group of Heucheras which have been selected for their flowers rather than the showy acid green and purple foliage of other varieties whose flowers tend to be lack lustre. However, these hybrids still bear attractive palmately lobed leaves in plain green which provides excellent groundcover, but it is their bright red or pink tubular flowers held on fine upright stems which is their chief attraction in spring and early summer. They will flower even in partial shade and so make excellent woodland plants or in spring borders where they will spill over border edges. Their palmate leaves associate well with contrasting foliage textures such as Carex ‘Everillo’. Height: 40cm (16”). Spread: 45cm (18”).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
