Hemerocallis ‘Mildred Mitchell’ is a classic variety in a sophisticated colour palette which blends beautifully with other border perennials.
Large, fragrant flowers up to 17cm wide, are delicately painted in lavender pink with a bluish-purple eye and yellow-green throat.
Hemerocallis are reliable hardy perennials with large, exotic-looking blooms from mid-summer to autumn above clumps of arching, strap-like leaves. They are easy to grow, tolerating even difficult clay soils and demanding very little maintenance. Height: 60-70cm (24″ to 26″). Spread: 60cm (24”).
