Cornus Kousa Var. Chinensis ‘Wieting’s Select’

This recently introduced flowering dogwood produces spectacular bright red autumn colours, together with an abundance of creamy white flower bracts from late spring into summer, which turn pink before they fall. Cornus kousa var. chinensis ‘Wietings Select’ is a hardy, deciduous plant, adapting well to being trained as a large shrub or small tree, due to its upright nature and well-branched habit. Height: 6m (20′). Spread: 4m (13′).
