Chamaecyparis Thyoides ‘Blue Rock’

Forms pleasingly spherical cushions of stubby, needle-like foliage with a soft blue tone which develops shades of violet in the winter. Chamaecyparis thyoides ‘Blue Rock’ is a slow-growing, dwarf conifer whose rounded shape contrasts beautifully with pyramidal and weeping Cypress cultivars. Use it to provide all-season interest, texture and colour in containers, rock gardens and sunny borders. Height: 50cm (20in). Spread: 40cm (16in) after 10 years.
