Campanula Portenschlagiana

A vigorous little ground-creeping campanula, creating carpets of violet-blue bells in summer which are delightful cascading down steps and over rockeries, squeezing into gaps between pavers or as groundcover. Even when it’s not in flower, Campanula portenschlagiana creates pleasing hummocks of small, rounded foliage with evergreen interest, usefully suppressing emergent weed seedlings all year round. Height: 15cm (6in). Spread: 45cm (18in).
