The dainty blooms of the Lesser Water Plantain appear between May and September among dense clumps of lime green foliage. Each flower has just 3 petals in a delicate shade of palest lilac pink. Baldellia ranunculoides is a British native marginal aquatic and therefore perfectly hardy and extremely low maintenance. Perfect for creeping through bog gardens or planting in the moist soil at the edge of ponds and streams. Height: 20cm (8″). Spread: 30cm (12″). Planting depth: Zone 1 & 2 to 5cm below water level.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
