Armeria Maritima ‘Düsseldorfer Stolz’

A pretty variety of Thrift with large, dark purple-pink flowers that rise on upright stems in late spring and summer. The grassy, evergreen foliage of Armeria maritima ‘Düsseldorfer Stolz’ forms a dense, ground-hugging cushion throughout the year. This compact, low-growing perennial is perfect for gravel gardens and rockeries, or plugging gaps at the front of sunny borders. Once established it is tough, reliable and drought resistant – perfectly adapted for challenging coastal conditions. Height: 20cm (8″). Spread: 30cm (12″).
