Aloe ‘Safari Sunrise’

Aloes are most commonly found on a sunny windowsill in the UK, but this new variety makes a fabulous patio plant. The spikey, dark green foliage forms a rounded, evergreen clump, providing excellent year round interest. Aloe ‘Safari Sunrise’ sends up pointed, bicolour flower spikes of orange-pink and cream, like glowing candles. This free flowering succulent is a reblooming variety, so the flowers just keep coming all summer long!

Aloe ‘Safari Sunrise’ makes a fine addition to patio pots or planted as part of a summer rockery display. Although hardy, this magnificent Aloe is best moved to a sheltered, dry and frost free position with a minimum temperature of 2C (35F) for overwintering, in order to prevent damage from cold, wet weather. Alternatively, grow it in the conservatory or a cold greenhouse, all year round. Height and spread: 90cm (36″).
