This slow growing tree has an attractive open habit that forms a broad canopy and creates a dramatic silhouette in borders. Acer palmatum ‘Atropurpureum’ is an ideal small tree for a sheltered position and makes an excellent specimen for large patio containers. Height and spread: Up to 4m (13′).
